Overview: The Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications will oversee and drive the Group's corporate communications strategy, ensuring consistent, impactful, and brand-aligned messaging across all internal and external platforms. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking to elevate Ramssol Group's brand reputation, stakeholder engagement, and media visibility regionally.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications & Branding

  • Develop and implement corporate communication strategies aligned with Group vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Strengthen brand positioning across Southeast Asia markets through integrated communication campaigns.
  • Manage corporate reputation, crisis communication, and stakeholder relations.

Media & Public Relations

  • Lead media engagement, build strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Draft press releases, speeches, and corporate statements to ensure clear and positive media coverage.
  • Coordinate with agencies, partners, and internal stakeholders for public announcements, events, and campaigns.

Internal Communications

  • Enhance internal communications to foster employee engagement, culture, and alignment across all business pillars.
  • Develop newsletters, intranet updates, and leadership messages to ensure effective two-way communication.

Content & Digital Presence

  • Oversee development of high-quality content (articles, LinkedIn posts, videos, thought-leadership pieces).
  • Drive the Group's digital presence across corporate website, LinkedIn, and social platforms. Ensure all communication materials meet brand guidelines and compliance standards.

Leadership & Departmental Management

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide the Corporate Communications team to deliver high-impact results.
  • Manage departmental KPIs, reporting, and alignment with Group CMO and C-Level expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental communication initiatives to support business units (PeopleTech, EduTech, AiTech, AutoTech, MarTech).

Key Requirements Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate communication, public relations, or media. Experience in working with PR agencies or in a corporate communications team preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong storytelling and content development capabilities.
  • Knowledge of media landscape and press engagement.
  • Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and digital tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to brand voice consistency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM8,000.00 per month
