Full job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve menu items in accordance with production requirements.
- Ensure day to day operation runs smoothly accordance to the SOP
- Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations and kitchen are properly sanitized.
- Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
- Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
- Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Plating and presenting meal items as per the Sous Chef instructions.
- Carry out any other duties as required by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM/ STPM
- Fresh graduates in Culinary Arts, Food /Beverage or related studies are welcome
- At least 1 year working experience in food/Beverage/Restaurant Service
- Teamwork, and Passionate about F&B career and keen to advance his/her managerial experience
- Able to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
- Ability to perform detailed work quickly, safely and able to comply with company SOP
