Job Description
As a Sous Chef your role is to lead & manage the back of house in regards to all things delicious & spark joy We welcome creative free – play, challenging ideas of what falls categorically under a good wholesome meal. Your technical & management skill in operating a full kitchen team should be matched by your creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes and to pass that knowledge on to Junior Cooks in line. With the final & only clear objective of enhancing customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele.
Requirements:
Work with Chef Patron and Head Chef to design menu offerings for daily operations.
Create dishes for thematic Chef Table events according to the given brief.
Propose & Manage Production of Merchandise.
Manage daily production schedule.
Monitor stocks & food cost.
Expedite orders in the absence of Chef.
Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used in the back of house.
Guide and motivate the junior kitchen team to work more efficiently.
Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel.
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
Delegate daily production tasks to respective departments.
