  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with 7+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering.
  • Extensive experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and designing/building scalable RESTful APIs using a microservices architecture.
  • Strong, proven expertise (7+ years preferred) working within the AWS cloud ecosystem and building distributed computing solutions.
  • Deep proficiency in key technologies such as Java (SpringBoot), database technologies (SQL, schema modeling), testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito), and DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Significant experience with system integration patterns and integrating with 3rd party APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, guide, and mentor team members, manage multiple priorities, and enhance team collaboration across different workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards, along with experience using Agile methodologies.
  • A proactive approach to staying current with new and emerging technologies (exposure to AI/ML concepts is a plus).
