About the role

Dae Guk M Sdn Bhd is seeking a Document Controller (QAQC) to join our team in Samalaju, Bintulu, Sarawak on a contract basis.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing document control procedures to maintain the integrity and traceability of all quality-related documentation
  • Managing the storage, retrieval, distribution and archiving of quality documents, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Providing administrative support to the project controller team, including logging, tracking, and reporting on quality-related data and metrics
  • Assisting in the preparation of quality-related reports and presentations for management and clients
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of required documentation
  • Maintaining softcopy and physical document control systems to ensure efficient document management
  • Provide support in preparing daily reports and ensuring timely submission to the client.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes, as well as applicable industry standards and regulations
  • Proficient in the use of document control software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
