Job Description – Senior Project Coordinator

A Manufacturing Tracking System Implementation Manager oversees and guides the adoption of production tracking software within a manufacturing environment. This role involves planning, designing, and deploying the system to enhance efficiency, traceability, and real-time monitoring of production processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.

Key Responsibilities

System Design & Integration:

  • Plan the implementation of manufacturing information systems (MES) and production tracking software, ensuring they meet the organization's specific needs.
  • Phase 1 is targeted to go live on January 1st with Phase 2 Scoping and SOPS to be started immediately
  • We Expect a fully operational System with all Reporting/ SOP's and Integration to other Systems to be completed in Mid-2026

Project Management:

  • Manage the entire implementation lifecycle, from initial planning and setup to user training, Testing and post-implementation support.

Workflow Optimization:

  • Streamline workflows by leveraging tracking software to minimize delays and optimize the allocation of resources.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Implement systems for collecting and analyzing real-time data on materials, progress, and quality controls to provide insights and support decision-making.

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the implementation and ongoing use of the system.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure the system meets production and business process requirements and provides timely information.

Ensuring Traceability:

Ensure that the implemented system allows for the continuous monitoring and documentation of all relevant production aspects, ensuring full traceability.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Manufacturing Processes:

  • A strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflows is essential.

Software & Systems:

  • Familiarity with production tracking software, MES, and other manufacturing information systems is required.

Project Management:

  • Skills in planning, execution, and monitoring of technology implementation projects.

Analytical & Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to analyze data, identify process bottlenecks, and develop effective solutions.

Communication & Leadership:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams and lead cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–7 years' experience in project coordination or management roles.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or related industries preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
