About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our team at ELITE TRANSFORM CONSULTING PLT'. In this full-time role based in Johor Bahru, Johor, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services for the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Researching and evaluating suppliers to identify the best options for quality, cost and delivery
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders, following up on deliveries and managing relationships with suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
  • Collaborating with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and priorities
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive or in a similar procurement role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate options and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in data entry, spreadsheet management and procurement software
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
