Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce practical contract terms based on site insights and method statements (MS/ITP) to ensure site accountability and defect prevention.
  • Validate subcontractor claims and ensure enforcement of scope checks and deduction clauses.
  • Conduct random audits and collaborate with site PICs to confirm contract enforcement and operational feedback loops.
  • Perform detailed cost analysis of actual project components (labour cost by man-days, material, equipment usage and mobilization) and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Maintain and update the costing database to support data-driven rate negotiation and project cost optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in contract award across multiple trades, specialising in high-rise projects.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and documentation.
  • Able to work independently, manage follow-ups, and maintain clear audit trails of contractual correspondence.
  • Experience in cost breakdowns, value engineering, or subcontract negotiation is an added advantage.
  • Comfortable interacting with both site and commercial teams, with a willingness to learn site operations (briefings provided where needed).
