Pet Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Manage veterinary pharmacy licenses/certificate and ensure compliance with drug storage regulations (Sales of Drug 1952, Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984).
• Collaborate with veterinarians to plan and assess treatment effectiveness.
• Dispense, compound and review prescriptions for accuracy, including checking for interactions and recommending changes.
• Advise pet owners on medication use, prescriptions vet diets, and pet health issues.
• Oversee point of sales, client systems, and pharmaceutical stock management.
• Train and motivate the team on product knowledge and customer service.
• Provide pharmaceutical care services and fulfil required continuing education to maintain professional license.

Requirements:

• Must possess a recognized Pharmacy degree or above with a registered license.
• Matured, patient and of pleasant personality.
• Strong in communication skills.
• Able to work independently, as well as a good team player.
• Possess a positive work attitude.
