Job Description

Main Responsibilities

Planning and implementing overall procurement prospects, managing procurement schedules and oversees the procurement department activities. Ensure all procurement activities are performed in accordance and comply to company policies and procedure and involved in the initial stage of new potential client project by ensuring compliance with procurement best practice

List of responsibilities

1. To perform end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, quotation, tender management, negotiation and awarding for external projects to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements

2. Liaise with vendors and service providers to obtain competitive quotes, product availability, and terms of supply.

3. To verify requests submission by internal user, ensuring vendor quotation submission within timeline, performing vendor selection and PO issuance

4. To identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality and cost standards.

5. To collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs.

6. Recommend cost-efficient sourcing strategies in alignment with project objectives and timelines

7. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policy, corporate governance, and approval limits
