About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operator to join our team at SMP MEDTECH SDN.BHD. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and quality production of our medical devices.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure consistent, high-quality production
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control procedures to minimise defects and maximise productivity
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities
  • Participate in training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Operator or similar manufacturing role, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to operate complex machinery and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive, safety-conscious culture
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
