Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible to lead our sales initiatives across Malaysia. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving and exceeding the annual sales budget by developing and executing strategic sales plans. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing key dealer relationships, driving market share growth within a defined territory, and implementing target marketing activities to maximize revenue.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Commercial Performance:
Own and be accountable for achieving the annual sales revenue and profitability targets for the designated territory.
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to expand market share and aggressively grow the customer base across the Egg, Swine, and Poultry business divisions.
Establish and manage annual sales quotas, forecasts, and budgets for the region, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
Key Account & Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key accounts and major customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to diversify and strengthen the customer portfolio.
Sales Operations, Planning, Analysis & Enablement:
Continuously evaluate and improve sales and operational processes to enhance dealer and customer experience, making it easier to do business with us.
Implement and uphold sales policies, procedures, and a culture of accountability within the team.
Coordinate and oversee all sales planning activities, ensuring high levels of accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment.
Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze sales data, generate actionable insights, and create improved reports to identify key growth opportunities for regions and product lines.
Serve as a subject matter expert on our products, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, using this knowledge to inform and refine sales strategy.
Marketing Coordination & Communication:
Partner closely with the Marketing team to develop and deploy effective sales communications, campaigns, and materials (including for the website and dealer portal) to support channel initiatives.
Collaborate on the planning and execution of a strategic calendar of trade shows, demonstrations, and other regional events to maximize brand engagement and lead generation.
Minimum Qualifications Required
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or Post Graduate qualification is highly regarded.
· A minimum of 3 years of proven sales manager experience within the agribusiness or livestock sector, specifically related to swine farm, or related farm products will be advantage.
· Demonstrable experience selling technical farm products or services. This includes, but is not limited to: animal feed, veterinary pharmaceuticals, farm equipment, breeding stock, poultry building materials, or meat/egg processing equipment.
· Strong communication skills.
· Proven strategic thinking abilities with a track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex commercial opportunities.
· Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipelines and customer interactions.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively to a diverse range of clients.
· Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing and able to undertake constant travel within the designated territory as a core requirement of the role.
· Resilience and a proven ability to navigate complex, challenging markets and sales cycles.
· A strong understanding of the unique dynamics and challenges within the livestock industry (specifically in swine) is essential.
