Malaysia NXP Semiconductors Full time
  • Follows up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery dates. Ensures materials are available to meet manufacturing build requirements.
  • Liaise with production planner on expedite and de-expedite the material delivery.
  • Monitor and maintaining optimum inventory level.
  • Follows up with suppliers on open orders, past due deliveries and receiving issues.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance via performance scorecard (SRS).
  • Pursue inventory and cost reduction initiatives, such as scrap reduction and slow-moving inventory consumption.
  • Working closely with Procurement, Logistics and Operations to achieve on-time shipments and inventory objectives.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualification

Requirements:

  • Preferably Business Administration, Materials Planning, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, IE or Operations Degrees.
  • Advanced knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing flow.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software/programs as department needs arise. Experience with SAP/ ERP systems in a manufacturing environment a plus.
