Clinical Optometrist

● To carry out the functions of an optometrist (refraction, basic ophthalmic history, and examination, performing ophthalmic investigations, prescription of spectacles and contact lenses) under supervision.

● To participate and contribute to the marketing and expansion activities (e.g. conduct eye screening work and give eye care talks) of the center as the need arises.

● Assist the doctors in their clinics.

● Provide basic and direct care to patients as directed by a doctor, and ensure good patient care experience in the clinic.

● Maintain medical records and schedule appointments.

● Filing documents, and getting patients where they need to be.

● Prepping patients for examinations.

● Assisting fellow colleagues and performing any other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or management.
