Job Description
  • Ensures that all food are prepared and served according to the standard set by Executive Chef
  • Does cooking and presentation of food
  • Ensure that standard recipes are used, and food is presented according to pictures
  • Ensure that all machines, furniture (fridge, benches, etc.), equipment and utensils are cleaned and in working condition at all times. Checks all areas assigned to him/her in regards to sanitation and hygiene contamination of any kind
  • Ensure that the kitchen is always in a safe condition so as to prevent accidents
  • Responsible in making the through flow information work from him/her all the way to the helper’s level
  • Maintains good relations with all departments to avoid frictions of any kind

Work Experience

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year in Culinary in a 4 or 5 star operation
  • Good knowledge of culinary production basics
  • Good knowledge of culinary aspects in cost control, culinary labor control, equipment maintenance
  • Good communication skills

  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Have the ability to prioritize workload assignments
