Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: Quality

  • Manpower planning, prioritizing and allocation of task’s and defining targets to ensure Quality departments daily jobs meeting timeline.
  • Prioritize and execute the incoming part inspection based on shipment date/urgency level.
  • Maintain calibration records of QC tools and equipment, engage with calibration services suppliers for calibration arrangements.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve Quality processes, workflow, manage inspection method and specification to ensure all materials and products meets company and/or customer specifications.
  • Define and measure departmental performance, plan, and execute improvement activities to improvement flow of material and performance.
  • Monitor, compile, and analyse the reject rates of reported non-conformity using effective quality tools.
  • Coordinate problem solving activities utilising quality tools upon triggering of 8D activities, customer complaints, internal rejects, etc.
  • Communicate with related stakeholders on issues/matters related to Quality, provide effective solution through actions or communication with related stakeholders.
  • To lead the quality control team and to always adhere strictly the quality control SOP in all Quality related initiative and/or program to ensure work efficiency with safety and quality compliances in operational function.
  • Active contributor on improvement projects related to quality audit, safety, LEAN/5S, etc.
  • Conduct On-the-Job training to quality members necessary to perform respective jobs effectively.
  • Ensuring all parts is going through proper Quality control procedure for quality control and assurance for each process.
  • Maintain and storage of quality documents.
