Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis on RF semiconductor devices to determine failure mechanism and root cause of customer returned, internal qualifications and product development.
  • Failure analysis activities include non destructive and destructive analysis as well as working with chemicals.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in failure analysis of semiconductor devices.
  • In depth understanding of semiconductor physics, MOS and a detailed transistor level understanding of a variety of analog and logic circuits.
  • A persistent attention to details and a high level of comfort in working with investigative nature of activities.
  • Must have excellence written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Strong fault isolation experience is desired. For instance, hands on experience with light emission microscopy, various laser injection techniques e.g. OBIRCH, FIB technique, 3D X-ray and TDR.
  • Strong IC deprocessing skills (wet and dry).
  • Knowledge in GaAs, CMOS IC fabrication and test are beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, semiconductor parameter analyzers, RF functional testers, or microscopy tools such as SEM/EDX and PFIB.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering, physics or related course.
