Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst

We will count on you to: 

  • Interprets and analyzes client data to assist senior actuaries in analytics projects for reinsurance programs (e.g. pricing, treaty structures, stochastic modelling, Dynamic Financial Analysis and advisory work)â¯Â 

  • Assists in responding to client queries and resolving issues to enhance client experience.  

  • Updates team members on issues and progress on analyses to ensure analyses are delivered on time. 

  • Research on market and industry trends in support of reinsurance transaction process. 

 

What you need to have: 

  • A bachelorâs degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical or quantitative field 

  • Candidates with 0 - 4 years of experience, recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 

  • Robust analytical and communication skills with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.  

  • Experience within general (P&C) (re)insurance industry preferred, though not essential. 

  • Candidates who have made progress towards Actuarial exams will be given favorable consideration. 

 

What makes you stand out: 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Stochastic Modelling Software will be advantageous. 

  • General knowledge of business principles and reinsurance industry trends. 

  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
