Purpose of the position
- Operation of multiple process plants within the RSE ROC in Malaysia simultaneously.

Principal responsibilities
- Maintain safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
- Response to and troubleshoot of process upsets
- Monitor on plant production/operating mode 24/7 as required to meet the demand for both Tonnage and bulk products.
- Support the Korea Ops team to provide recommendations to optimize plant operations excellence Team or Site operations team
- Monitor plant restarts and shutdowns within the timeline given
- Monitor the long-term performance of the individual items of process equipment and machinery associated with the production facility and where necessary make recommendations for corrective actions
- Monitor plant loading changes as required by operations or logistics management
- Communicate plant issues to the Plant operations excellence team
- Responsible for plant efficiency and safe operations for the plants under his/her care when he/she is on duty.
- Identify and support productivity improvement initiatives on assigned plants
- Support the on-site team in downtime analysis.
- Maintain individual plant logs and prepare monthly Ops summary reports under his/her custodian

Required qualifications/experience
- For Senior ROC Engineer role – at least 3 to 5 years similar working experience in plant operations.
