We are in search of an experienced US General Ledger and Reporting Manager to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team.

This role is integral to overseeing the General Ledger functions and financial reporting processes across our diverse global operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience supporting the US market and a strong familiarity with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). As a key player in the GBS, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in alignment with global accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Global General Ledger Oversight:

    • Manage and lead day-to-day Global General Ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
    • Ensure adherence to US GAAP and other international accounting standards.
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to uphold financial integrity.

    • International Financial Reporting:

      • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our global entities.
      • Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external auditors to facilitate comprehensive audit processes.
      • Deliver accurate and timely global financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

      • US Market Expertise:

        • Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP, staying abreast of updates and changes to ensure global compliance.
        • Collaborate closely with business units in the US, understanding specific reporting requirements and providing financial insights.

        • Global Team Leadership:

          • Lead and mentor a diverse team of finance professionals within the Global Business Services.
          • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring the team's alignment with global objectives.
          • Conduct regular performance reviews and support ongoing professional development.

          • Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

            • Identify and drive opportunities for process optimization and automation, enhancing efficiency within General Ledger and reporting functions.
            • Spearhead initiatives to standardize workflows and elevate the overall effectiveness of global financial reporting processes.

              Qualifications and Experience:

              • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA / CPA designation is highly preferred.
              • Extensive experience as a General Ledger Manager or in a similar capacity, with a focus on global financial reporting.
              • In-depth knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.
              • Demonstrated leadership experience within a global matrix organization.
              • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
              • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
