We are currently looking for Head of Facilities & Environment for a semiconductor manufacturer based in Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.

  • Reporting to: Managing Director
  • Location: Johor
  • Team size: 20 - 30 direct reports
  • Excellent remuneration and benefits package

    the role

    • Oversee the plant's operations, ensuring treated water meets environmental regulations and discharge standards.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies, comply with environmental regulations, and handle scrubber operations.
    • Conduct safety inspections, implement safety protocols, and collaborate to foster a safe work environment.
    • Monitor treatment processes, conduct performance checks, and prepare reports as required.

      the experience

      • Minimum 10 years' experience in a wastewater treatment plant environment, with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environment, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering) and competency in CePIETSO (PCP) certification highly preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (EQA) and safety protocols (OSHA) with effective communication skills across all levels.
      • Possess a hands-on attitude, strong analytical mind, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
