Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full time Manage current procurement team to provide proper guidance and ensure adherence of procurement processes. Develop solutions to resolve issues and troubleshoot when required. Manage ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders, i.e. Users from Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, Management and Regional teams through periodic meetings, discussions, etc. to improve procurement related processes and procedures, resolving issues and risk mitigation planning. Involvement in special projects or task forces when required. Develop procurement strategies around cost reduction/savings, risk identification and mitigation, vendor management, and quality assurance. Work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, evaluating the pros and cons of each based on price, quality, speed of delivery, and other factors. Work collaboratively with suppliers for capacity planning and ramp-up. Negotiate with suppliers to create the best deals. Develop procurement strategy and cost analysis through the use of relevant data and dashboards. Active monitoring of material prices through price catalogues and obtaining market intelligence. Able to draft basic contracts and work with the Legal team to ensure completeness of contracts. Provide periodic updates to Senior Management during regular meetings and periodic status reports. Assist and support in all areas for the procurement team whenever needed. Requirements: Must possess at least 5 years’ experience in procurement processes. Willing to travel to the warehouse (around Klang Valley) when necessary. Required computer skill(s): Intermediate in Microsoft Excel. Able to navigate around procurement systems or ERPs. Good negotiation and analytic skills, proactive and willing to learn. Basic understanding of P2 P (purchasing to payment).#J-18808-Ljbffr
