Scope of Responsibilities:
This is a Product Engineering Manager position in the Secure Connected Edge (SCE) organization. The candidate will be responsible to build and develop a highly successful Product Engineering team who will drive a product through the entire NPI development cycle (concept, definition, execution, product launch/ramp) at the same time ensuring that quality, cost and schedule needs of our customers are met.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive product deliverables (NPI KPI’s) through the product life cycle.
- Work with global cross-functional teams on SCE IIoT and Auto new silicon/ product development and qualification, from early phases of product definition up till product release for volume manufacturing.
- Work closely with the design team on introducing new products and new technologies.
- Close interaction with Test Engineering team on ATE test hardware requirements, product characterization (CZ) activities, customer sample programs and final test time & cost targets.
- Forecast and drive future test time, yield improvements, and provide them to the Business and Planning teams.
- Drive Customer Quality Incident investigations including customer facing technical support.
- Work together with manufacturing partners such as FAB, A&T or OSATs on yield, quality and delivery.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- 10+ years’ experience in Product and Test Engineering or similar technology domain.
- 5+ years’ experience in managing a team with proven track record in leading NPI/NTI projects.
- Demonstrated high level of leadership, management, team mentoring and decision making skills.
- Extensive experience in launching new products and technologies.
- Highly motivated, independent and self-driven. Able to identify, confront, and resolve difficult problems.
- Strong presentation, documentation, communication and customer-facing skills. Capable of having technical discussions with cross-functional teams and strategic conservations at the executive level.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to develop strong and effective working relationships across the company
- Familiar with BIST, SCAN, DFT, DFA implementation schemes and experience in bench testing is a plus.
