Quantitative Trader (Cryptocurrency)Gough Recruitment, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia My client is seeking an experienced Quantitative Trader to develop high-frequency trading (HFT) programs, implement market-making strategies for altcoins, and build robust monitoring systems for our trading activities on crypto exchanges. Key Responsibilities Design and write high-frequency trading (HFT) programs using Python and/or Node.js to execute trades on crypto exchanges. Implement and manage market making strategies for a variety of altcoins, optimizing for profitability and market share. Analyze market data to refine strategies and improve execution. Work closely with the technology team to enhance trading infrastructure and data analysis tools. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the crypto trading space. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, particularly those related to cryptocurrency trading. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline. Proven experience in quantitative trading, specifically with API trading of cryptocurrencies. Strong programming skills in Python and/or Node.js. Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading platforms, and digital assets.
