  • Ensure contractor compliance with HSSE requirements through monitoring, audits, and inspections.
  • Supervise HSSE officers and engineers from site contractors.
  • Implement and review Contractor Project Safety Plan, PTW System, and Safe Work Procedures for high-risk activities.
  • Analyze HSSE data trends and recommend improvements based on audits, inspections, and feedback.
  • Manage HSSE performance reports, non-conformities, and corrective actions with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Monitor site safety, conduct equipment inspections, safety walks, and meetings.
  • Track contractor HSSE performance, ensuring goal zero targets are met.
  • Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Lead HSSE initiatives, share learnings, and ensure consistent standards.
  • Address HSSE issues on-site, escalating major issues when necessary.
  • Participate in accident/incident investigations and HSSE reporting.
  • Coordinate with management, clients, contractors, and authorities on HSSE matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Standards and update safety procedures.
  • Support project documentation, including risk assessments, training matrices, and performance scorecards.
