As a Senior SAP SD Consultant in a support role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. Collaborating closely with end-users, functional teams, and other support personnel, your role involves troubleshooting and resolving Incident and Service Request tickets. Additionally, you will play a key role in Change Request Management, continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge transfer, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Issue Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to SAP SD processes, configurations, and transactions.

End-User Support: Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing queries, and provide the root cause analysis to users using ticketing tool. Enhancements and Change Requests: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand enhancement requests, propose solutions, and implement changes to improve SAP SD functionality.

Incident Management: Lead incident management activities, ensuring prompt resolution of issues within SLA and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge Transfer: Share expertise with team members and end-users, conducting training sessions and creating documentation to enhance overall SAP SD understanding.

Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to existing SAP SD processes, configurations, and support methodologies.

Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and compliance with relevant industry standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to monitor system performance, track support tickets, and provide insights for decision-making. Ability and willingness to travel as required

Education and Experience Required:

• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in information system
• Preferably SAP certified
• S/4 HANA will be added advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in a full project cycle implementations and support
• Knowledge to maintaining master data (material master, customer master, condition master, info records, sales documents types, item categories)
• Master data upload using LSMW
• Configuration of SD module â credit / debit memos, invoice correction, returns, pricing, sales orders, outline agreements (quality / value / service/ master contracts), info records
• Hands on knowledge in special sales order process: cash sales, rush order, FOC, single level packing, cross selling, third party order processing, consignment sales
• Knowledge on batch management, route determination, rebate processing, STO, backorder processing, sales deals and sales promotions bill of materials (BOM), and material documents.
• Thorough understanding of integration SD with MM, QM, WM and FI/CO modules.
• Expertise in business process designing, blue print, configuration, unit & integration testing, documentation & production support.
• Gap analysis, business process support in global and local system environment.
• Troubleshooting production problems and configuration issues through prioritization.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English is must
• Excellent client-facing, cross-functional communication and interaction skills
• Hands-on, high commitment and self-responsibility
• Knows minimal ABAP is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP integration with third-party system.
