The Trade Process Vice President role is a role responsible for ensuring People, Process , Client And Risk And Control are managed while supporting the transformation agenda that the bank is going through. The overall objective is to manage the daily operations for Trade Operations unit, consisting of multiple teams performing related tasks. This role needs a Transformation bent of mind and is expected to support the Operations and Transformation agenda .

In this role, you're expected to:

  • Oversee Operations and Transformation agenda to ensure teams meet performance and quality expectations
  • Manage staff resource allocation while assisting with the development and oversight of the budget
  • Resolve complex and highly variable issues with significant departmental impact
  • Evaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards
  • Contribute to the objectives of the entire Transaction Services function
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Support and help drive and lead the TWCS transformation agenda
  • Be CLIENT Centric and ensure all our solutions have the client's needs in mind while ensuring the Risk and Control agenda is not compromised.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6-10 years of experience in a related senior level role with experience in trade operations and management
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
  • Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
