ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Our team is looking for a developer to work on one of the Monetization products in Xsolla. We are in charge of In-Game Store , Subscriptions , and Buy Button . If you're full of ambition, not afraid of challenging tasks, have solid knowledge in PHP, and want to work in the video game industry - this position is for you.

We connect millions of users and games worldwide. We help players get the fastest return on their game investment. And for games, we help attract more players around the world. Our team develops new ways of monetization, creates different types of items (virtual items, virtual currency, game keys, physical items, bundles), manages catalog (prices, regional settings, promotions) and player inventory, customizes solutions for partners and faces other non-trivial tasks.

Our stack:

Backend: PHP 8 (Symfony, Doctrine)

Frontend: SPA onReact

Infrastructure: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, ELK, Docker, GCP, k8s

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop the functionality and maintain it
  • Create new services for new features
  • Offer new ideas for improving the product
REQUIREMENTS
  • Have experience in programming and industrial web application backend development in PHP
  • Have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Understand decomposition principles, OOP and patterns
  • Can write testable code, unit and functional tests
  • Have a good command of SQL, database design, OLTP/OLAP approaches
  • Participate in team development
  • Read manuals and technical literature in English
NICE TO HAVE
  • Have experience in building high-load enterprise applications and event-driven systems
  • Know the architectural application patterns and have experience applying them
  • Work with continuous integration and deployment systems: Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, etc
  • Experience with Frontend development (any framework, preferably React).
