Senior Management Executive, Leadership

Key accountabilities:
Reporting functions
Produce monthly PMB Group Financial Report (GFR) and other monthly schedules as and when required, for submission within the deadline set to assist management decision making and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial covenants. The type of assistance includes: -
- Monitor to ensure financial data of PMB and its subsidiaries are uploaded accurately and promptly into the consolidation system according to the set timeline.
- Review the consolidated numbers and raise the elimination or group adjustment journals to eliminate intra-group transactions or other necessary adjustments.
- Liaise with UEM Group for submission of consolidated financial statements
- Prepare monthly variance analysis report based on the consolidated financial statements and information gathered from other departments and units.
Prepare monthly analysis of financial performance & traffic update of PMB Group with detailed variance explanations for monthly Leadership Meeting
Prepare Quarterly Board/Audit Committee Papers to be presented for managements’ direction and decision making. The type of assistance includes: -
- Prepare schedules/workings for variance explanation for quarterly results
- Provide information and analysis for any queries relating to the consolidated financial statements.
Prepare timely audited financial statements for PMB Group for submission to relevant authorities, shareholders and other stakeholders. The type of assistance includes: -
- Review and compile consolidation packages submitted by PMB and its subsidiaries and prepare PMB Group consolidation package within the specified deadlines.
- Prepare related audit schedules and analysis for audited financial statements.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors in order to ensure accuracy of accounting treatments and timely production of audited financial statements.
Preparation of information requested by shareholders and external stakeholders, i.e. UEM Group, EPF, Khazanah, Kementerian Kerja Raya, Bank Negara Malaysia, Department of Statistics Malaysia etc.
Others
Assist in successful implementation of projects, if any. The type of assistance includes: -
- Participate/collaborate with other units/departments in gathering/providing relevant information relating to the projects.
To assist the Head of Unit/Department in undertaking ad-hoc/special tasks requested by the Management.
Qualifications:
- At least a Degree in Accounting or Professional Certificate or equivalent
- At least 2 years working experience in the accounting field of a computerised accounting environment.
- At least 2 years working experience in preparing Group accounts.
