The QA Executive will support the QA Manager in recommending objectives and strategies, including short and long-term plans, to implement and coordinate the company's policies on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The primary goal is to maximize Quality Assurance & Objectives and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the company's procedures, adhering to international standards at all times and ensuring the company's standards are never compromised.

Key responsibilities

General Job Functions:

  • Assist in managing and administering the QA department.
  • Assist in analyzing, planning, developing, implementing, and executing policies towards the company's and department's goals and objectives.
  • Execute and implement instructions given by the Head of Department.
  • Implement and execute company activities related to QMS, Safety & Health, etc.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by the Head of Department.

Food Safety & Quality Management:

  • Execute the overall quality plan.
  • Assist in ensuring the achievement of Quality KPI and performance.
  • Assist in investigating and following up on quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Administer product testing requirements against product specifications.
  • Administer product usage decisions and releases.
  • Ensure quality alignment to comply with Kerry Global, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Inspect dryer lines.
  • Coordinate company HACCP and all relevant food safety documentation.
  • Assist in validations and verifications.

Quality Sustainability:

  • Manage quality improvement initiatives with other departments.
  • Lead quality issue troubleshooting and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee laboratory conditions, functionality of equipment, and testing.
  • Conduct analysis of process capability, including Cp and Cpk analysis, and drive action plans as part of continuous improvement actions.
  • Ensure calibrations are performed accordingly and procedures are adhered to

External Customer Engagement & General Affairs:

  • Handle customer complaints, troubleshooting, and CAPA.
  • Assist with customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and questionnaires.
  • Monitor department expenses and ensure wise expenditure.
  • Administer shelf-life extension evaluations upon customer request.

Employee Development

  • Administer employee performance appraisals.
  • Administer the induction program for new joiners within the QA department.
  • Administer training and development initiatives.
  • Administer on-the-job training for QA assistants.

Quality & Environmental Management System:

  • Administer the department's QMS.
  • Administer the department's EMS.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in EHS-related activities, including document reviews, audits, ensuring compliance, and involvement in EHS programs (ASQEW, BOS, CCTV review, etc.).
  • Conduct departmental risk assessments (HIRADC).
  • Ensure a safe working environment and consistently practice safe behaviors while working.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Food Science / Microbiology / Biotechnology with related manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CGMP, HACCP, and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
