Job Title: BTD Software Tester (Junior)
Location: 201-A, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur
Working time: Mon - Fri, 8.30AM - 5.30PM

Working Duration: 12 Months contract with PERSOLKELLY.
Salary: Salary up to RM6000 basic salary (based on qualification & education), statutory contribution & leave entitlement.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

• More than two (2) years’ experience in developing, creating, preparing, capturing and strategize the test plans, test scenario & test case.

• Knowledge and experience in preparing/handling the test scenario and executing the test case according to the test plan.

• Had an experience in managing and monitor the UAT using JIRA system.

• Had a vast experience in banking & unit trust industries is preferred.

• Good communications (both the email and spoken soft skills) and presentation skills
• Able to articulate complex/complicated issues well i.e., simplified and objectively for business understanding.
• Possess good time management, attention to dateline.
• Good analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• A consistent driver with a go getter attitude.
• Ability to write test documentation such as test case, test plan,test case andUAT & Test Case sign-off documents.
• Have experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Have understanding on financial institution process especially in the unit trust particularly in the unit trust system.
• Ability to work independently.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Understand Business Requirementsof ITrelated projects/system enhancements,

• Design testing plan and User Acceptance Test (UAT) activity based on system functions and features

• Develop test scenario and/or test case

• Identify and prepare test data

• Perform the testing according to the UAT test plan and timeline.

• Managing the UAT activities including performing the End of Day (EOD) activity, report generating, data request from Company agents for internal testing etc.

• Confirm fix variance, prepare the UAT related reports and sign-off document

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand the requirements from the Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Business

• Requirement Specification (BRS) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) for the modules assigned.

• Conduct meeting with business users to review test scenario & test case for better understanding of the scope of the projects and business requirements.

• Design and understand the test plan, test scenario & test case for UAT activities, based on defined testing requirements.

• Plan, identify and document the test data requirements for the UAT activity according to the testing requirements.

• Upload the test case into JIRA system and assign the test case to the respective tester (Business User).

• Coordinate the testing and/or execute assigned test cases and perform the testing within the agreed UAT timeline.

• Document actual results and to log variances resulted from the execution for each of the modules assigned.

• Monitor the variance and to retest once fixed.

• Produced testing statistic reports for the daily updates & prepare the sign off documents of the completed modules.

• Timely escalations to the Test Manager/Project Manager if there are any show-stoppers or blockers.

• Report to the respective Test Manager for all testing matters

• Provide support among testers for the other test cases and test scenarios execution (if required).

• To extend support to the Testers/Test Manager for the project review, walkthrough, and Training.

• To highlight any clarifications, dependencies, and co-ordinate with different teams on need basis.

• Deliverables:          (i)   Test case Sign-Off documents.

                                   (ii)  UAT test plan, test scenario, test case executions, UAT test result

                                   (iii) Testing statistic reports for daily updates & UAT sign off document
