To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  1. A certified accountant with 15-18 years of finance leadership experience in venture capital, investment banking space
  2. Good financial accounting, tax management / planning experience and financial reporting knowledge in a public listed settings will be highly preferred.
  3. Those with fund management / private equity experience will possess edge.

Your responsibilities will be:

  1. Accountable for the full spectrum of the finance and accounting related functions.
  2. Ensure all finance and accounting activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
  3. Timely preparation of the group's monthly/quarterly/annually management reports.
  4. Timely preparation of Annual Report and statutory financial statements of the assigned entities for regulatory and other reporting in compliance with listing and other regulatory requirements.
  5. Review monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements for appropriateness and to provide the Management with robust information for sound decision-making.
  6. Liaise with financial institutions on funding, borrowing costs, treasury management and other relevant matters.
  7. Assist in formulating budget, plans and policies in line with the assigned entities' overall strategies and targets.
  8. Provide assessment of existing and proposed financial plans and policies.
  9. Review tax estimation and ensure payments are made timely.
  10. prepare and review interest restriction and tax planning for the assigned entities.
  11. Oversee all financial and accounting system controls and standards for the assigned entities.
  12. To develop, review and recommend improvement to accounting and financial information systems on an on-going basis.
  13. To ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory programmed and competent system of internal controls.
  14. Liaise with financial institutions, auditor, lawyers, tax agents and other external parties including regulatory bodies on financing and other accounting related matters.
  15. Coordinating and oversee the overall conduct of audit exercise and liaise with internal and external auditors for completion of audit.
  16. Liaise and coordinate all resolutions and other issues with Company Secretaries.
  17. To ensure compliance with statutory requirements and enforcing policies, guidelines and procedures.
  18. To update with the latest applicable accounting standards and other developments in accounting.
  19. Manage and restructure staffing in the department to ensure all assigned entities are covered.
  20. Exercise and maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism in dealing with business partners and clients and strive to preserve and enhance the good reputation and goodwill of the department and Company as well as build better relationship with business partners and clients.
