Randstad is partnering with a MNC company that specializes in producing and distributing electric vehicles (EV). The company is expanding their footprint in Malaysia and looking for a aftersales director as part of their growth strategy.

duties and responsibility:

As the Aftersales Director, you will oversee all facets of the aftersales department, encompassing service, parts, customer service, and warranty divisions. Your primary objective is to elevate customer satisfaction, optimize profitability, and uphold service excellence.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive aftersales strategy aligned with the companyâs overarching goals.
• Team Management: Lead and nurture the aftersales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continual growth.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service across all aftersales functions, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Revenue Generation: Enhance the profitability of the aftersales department through diversifying service offerings, refining pricing strategies, and controlling costs.
• Quality Control: Supervise quality assurance processes to ensure services consistently meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and customer preferences to tailor services and strategies accordingly.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Training and Development: Implement training initiatives to enhance team competencies and knowledge.
• Reporting and Analysis: Regularly analyze and report on aftersales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

  • Demonstrated background (at least 5 years) in a senior aftersales position within the automotive sector.
  • Effective leadership and team oversight capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in data analysis and interpreting performance indicators.
  • Knowledgeable about current automotive technologies and industry standards.
  • Capable of formulating and executing strategic initiatives.
