Job Description
  • Prepares tax returns, estimated tax payments and various other tax compliance.
  • Monitor and initiate follow-up actions to resolve outstanding tax issues and disputes with authorities.
  • Contribute to tax projects through research, analysis, and the provision of insightful recommendations.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and customs on audits, investigations, applications, and appeals.
  • Ensure timely and effective tax compliance in line with relevant legislation.
  • Identify and assess potential tax risks, proposing effective risk management solutions.
  • Support Manager to provide ad-hoc advice on direct tax-related matters raised by management and authorities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in tax department (MNC / Accounting firm)
  • Strong passion in learning and mastering Income Tax & Indirect Taxes
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners is needed
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize
  • Diligent, attention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
