Job SummaryThis role is to make decisions, on behalf of Brightside, in relation to adjudication of claims under the terms and conditions, client expectations and service level expectations. Claims Assessor requires to have a critical commercial responsibility in making sure that good quality decisions are made in relation to each and every claims. You make decisions using a fair and equitable approach, balancing the commercial requirements of the program with the desire to deliver Brightside’s signature claims experience every time. The results of the work put in by the Claims Assessor is instrumental in influencing whether a customer makes the decision to retain their journey with us, and Brightside’s strategic partners on the back of the experience delivered ultimately having a direct impact on the growth of Brightside as an organization.   Required QualificationGood command in English and Malay include reading, writing and speaking. Any additional language will be highly encouraged.Have International exposure in communicating with native English speaker e.g., US, ANZ and/or UK is highly preferred.Must be able to work in fast-paced environment with multi-tasking job responsibilities and work independently.Knowledge in Accidental Damage and Extended Warranty claims will be an added advantage.PC proficiency.Initiative, responsive, responsible and disciplined.Preferably to have demonstrated experience in a Contact Centre, claims or customer service environment.Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, master's degree in any field.Due to business needs, this role will be required to work during New Zealand hours. Contact Centre Operating Days/Hours: Monday - Saturday 8am – 8pm (ANZ Time).Able to work permanently 12 working hours (with one hour lunch break & 30 mins break) a day, 4 days week; off days based on duty roster.
