Job Description - JR51027 Test Engineering Snr Manager / Director

Establish Test Engineering performance metrics and successful indicators, and build processes to ensure the entire team is on the right track to target.

Participate in global, site, and department strategy planning.

Define Test Engineering long-term strategic plan which includes new product roadmap, new test strategy, innovation, yield improvement, better quality control, cost reduction, and bringing site to BIC.

Develop leadership and talent to ensure a successful pipeline.

Retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to improve every individual's potential.

To be the role model that values and instills a strong company culture, must place emphasis on strategic management of group morale, and develop a collaborative and integrated atmosphere, and create an environment considered a workplace of choice.

Respond to internal and external customers' issues with excellence in customer service.

Collaborate with backend manufacturing central team, sister sites, and external groups to support Micron's overall needs and objectives.

Adhere to all safety requirements and promote a safe workplace for every team member and contractor.

Instill a continuous improvement culture and focus on labor productivity improvement.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor / Masters Degree in Any Engineering Disciplines, Engineering Management, or Business Admin / Management.
  2. 10 years' experience in any of the following: Management / Leadership, Engineering, Production / Manufacturing, Quality Management Systems, Semiconductor Manufacturing.
  3. Strong Leadership in leading a team to achieve organization goals.
  4. Excellent communication and influencing skills across teams.
  5. Good Analytical skills with acute common sense.
  6. Must be regarded as a mentor, team builder, and motivator.
  7. Must be seen by peers and directs as a leader in adopting Micron's behaviors.
  8. Must possess a thorough knowledge of self-strengths and areas for improvement and be open to regular, direct feedback to address areas for improvement.
  9. Experience in multiple engineering and production disciplines is preferred.
  10. Extensive work in product or test engineering is preferred.
