The RDNA Internship offers an opportunity to join the Research, Development & Applications (RDA) team. In this role, you will actively participate in projects related to raw materials and packaging. You will be tasked with specific assignments and gain exposure to quality assurance and production functions.

 

Duration: 6 months, from April to October.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist Category Technologist with raw materials evaluation, including physical, chemical, sensory, and shelf-life tests.
  • Support Category Technologist in developing raw materials and packaging specifications.
  • Aid Category Technologist in collecting, entering, and performing basic analysis of raw materials and packaging data.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors as needed.


Learnings/Exposures:

  • Exposure to Raw Material Selection, Specification, Sensory Evaluation Process, and Shelf Life Test Protocols.
  • Understanding of the New Product Development process, from bench development to scale-up and factory operations.
  • Exposure to the real food manufacturing process, from raw material governance to finished product production, ensuring safety, legality, and meeting customer requirements.
  • Communication skills development across diverse organizations with varied cultures, geographies, and preferences.
  • Hands-on laboratory skills and data analysis experience.
Qualifications and skills
  • Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Engineering.
  • Strong interest in gaining knowledge of Research & Development of Taste & Nutritional ingredients.
  • Adaptable with a willing to learn mind set who is open to be guided by senior team members
  • Good communication, writing and presentation in English & collaboration skills
  • Competent in basic Microsoft Office
  • Innovative, team player, independent, pro-active, confident.
