Roles and Responsibilities: Taxation Responsible in ensuring direct & indirect tax returns, transfer pricing documentations are lodged before statutory due date. Assist in applying for tax incentives and other relevant tax applications with the appropriate authorities. Manage company's taxation matters including tax audits, appeals and other related tax matters. Ensure timely and effective tax compliance with Malaysian regulations including implementation of legislative changes. To develop and maintain group’s compliance framework to ensure internal practices adhere to applicable tax laws and regulations. Identify and assess potential tax risks, proposing effective risk management solutions. Generate tax analysis or tax reports for stakeholders. Liaise with tax agent, Inland Revenue Board and other regulatory bodies when required. To develop training programs and provide tax trainings / updates to finance teams. To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time. Insurance Review and update company insurance policies on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of assets and operations are sufficiently protected. Responsible for company annual insurance renewal, ensuring premiums are correctly billed and justification for variances where necessary. Manage company insurance claims and Insurance audit. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Taxation or other relevant fields of study. At least 5 years of tax compliance work; with transfer pricing and deferred tax knowledge. Good knowledge in Malaysian tax regulations. Experience in utilizing SAP system will be an added advantage. Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia for business communication needs. Proficiency in MS Office , especially in MS Excel and general computer literacy is essential. A self-motivated, optimistic attitude and a passion for continuous learning and growth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
