We are looking for a Product Consultant , for CCH Professional Software. You'll be reporting to Consulting Manager, South East Asia.
Wolters Kluwer/CCH develops global technology products which support Tax and Accounting professionals. CCH software is primarily used by large, listed corporations and professional services firms.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position, to be based in Kuala Lumpur (hybrid working arrangement). #LI-Hybrid #LI-remote
About the Role
Firstly, you will be responsible for representing CCH Professional Software in SE Asia. This will involve working with talented regional and global teams in activities including pre-sales, marketing, product development, implementation and support. Your practical experience and understanding of the Audit Process will be critical for this work.
Secondly, you will assist in defining, scoping, initiating and managing small to medium projects of moderate risk and complexity that are vital in supporting the company to meet its objectives. The typical project lifespan is between 1-3 months and it will involve the implementation of audit and practice management software solutions.
Thirdly, you will inspire confidence in customers with respect to his/ her knowledge of company’s products and lead them to experience the efficiencies and effectiveness when using CCH Software in all types of jobs.
Pre-sales Support
- Support the sales team in software demonstrations to prospective clients
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
Consulting and Implementation - new clients:
- Work in partnership with clients to ensure the successful implementation of our software including:
- Reviewing the client’s current process and proposing processes improvements to rationalise, streamline and better control the process
- Assisting in the planning of the process and technology changes with the client
- Organising and conducting training sessions
- Assisting the client in the setup and configuration of the software
- Liaising with technical specialists as required to setup and configure the software
- Initial post implementation support to ensure the client’s users successfully use and accept the technology
- Managing clients’ expectations regarding CCH time investment
Customer Success - Support for existing clients:
- Assist the clients for more complex technical queries
- Liaison with clients regarding product upgrades, including refresher training
Product Development:
- Ad-hoc assistance with product development design, testing and documentation
- Proactively contribute ideas to the ongoing improvement of our software products
- Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects
General:
- Manage time to be within budgeted hours.
- Track time and work with the Sales to ensure adequate recovery of time.
- Build strong relationships with accounting firms to assist in technology pre-sales and implementation activities
- Resolve or provide work-around for any problems or issues that may arise.
About You
- 3+ years of audit experience with a degree in business (accounting or finance majors preferred). 2+ years of experience in customer facing role or as a trainer is preferred
- A deep understanding of the audit cycle, firm management or document management
- A sound understanding of the accounting professional business environment
- High adaptability in various user environments that enables effective and efficient implementation to achieve client satisfaction and a successful implementation.
- Problem Solver, persuasive, articulate, confident and resourceful
- Good interpersonal, organisational and planning skills
- Excellent presentation, training and consulting skills
- A team player approach, which recognizes the importance of individual accountability within the group
- A good command of English. Tagalog is a plus
