As the Lead Manager - Indirect Procurement, you are responsible for leading the South ASEAN Hub Indirect Procurement Team and strategically engage with all local stakeholders including the leadership team. You will drive seamless implementation of global procurement policies for all Indirect Services and Materials and to adapt Global/Regional strategy to the hub by connecting with both Division & Global IP Teams.

What you will do:
  • Develop business centric procurement strategies across Commercial, Supply, Demand, Logistics and Professional Services in line with Indirect Procurement key objectives in Growth, Financials, and Resilience, include ensuring centrally led sourcing projects meet local business requirements

  • Lead strategic supplier management strategy by being the primary contact for the negotiations of contract agreements in partnership with the Legal Department

  • Team development including hiring, coaching, training and creating a succession plan

  • Comply with all Indirect Procurement mandates (Indirect Procurement involvement with all spends, supplier creation, PO compliance, etc.)

  • Implement metrics, tools, and new processes to optimize sourcing, supplier innovation and business simplification (ie. Relationship Management Programs, KPI’s, redesign processes for simplification, etc.)

  • Implement comprehensive organizational plans to improve organizational readiness for efficient sourcing processes and strategies

  • Provide regular updates to the Management Team on status vs. annual objectives, major projects, key issues, industry best practices, processes, and technology trends

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any relevant field from a reputable university

  • Minimum 12 years' experience in Indirect Procurement in an FMCG industry or fast moving environment

  • Experienced in vendor evaluations, complex project management and strategic action planning

  • Self-starter, team player and able to work in a cross-cultural working environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
