Job Description: As a Software Engineer at   Ezi Motartech Sdn Bhd , you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our business and client needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use. Ensure the security and scalability of web applications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development. Work in an agile environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Qualifications: Strong proficiency in PHP with a focus on backend development. Extensive experience with the Laravel framework (minimum (Specify Years, e.g., 2 years)). Proficiency in relational databases (My SQL, Postgre SQL) and ORM (Eloquent). Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script, Vue.js, or React is a plus). Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Understanding of modern development practices, including TDD, BDD, and CI/CD. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
