  • We are seeking an Equipment Engineer are involved in designing, development, and implementation of technical equipment in any Front and Backend Assembly Equipment.
  • Work with Equipment Supplier conduct evaluations of equipment designs, analyze the technical specification involved in designing and development, and improve the overall quality of engineering products and/or process.
  • Also involving New Equipment purchase and Automation readiness, support NTI/NPI equipment readiness, equipment Preventive Maintenance, Overhaul, Unscheduled Downtime, Quality, Yield and Productivity improvement.
  • Not least comply with Safety, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) & Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirement, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing a detail technical specification guidelines for an engineering equipment and work in collaboration with manufactures, component suppliers, maintenance staff, and other technical involved in designing and development per package innovation specification.
  • Require to work in compliance with maintenance methods and procedures enhance current way of working to achieved desired state of Preventive Maintenance effectiveness.
  • Improvement production equipment, upgrade, modifying with qualification and repairing the technical flaws improve equipment quality, cost, yields and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Basic qualification required for obtaining a job as an equipment engineer is a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic and electrical, mechatronic, or other relevant sub-fields of engineering.
  • Apart from educational qualification, relevant experience in the semiconductor manufacturing or equipment manufactures of engineering is highly recommended if one wishes to start in career on a high note.
  • He/ She should possess the practical knowledge of engineering principles on any assembly equipment, which is gained on by several year experience.
  • Must possess certain skills like good oral, written and verbal communication, problem solving ability using DMAIC methodology, sense of responsibility towards work accomplishment, and sense of integrity along with the specialized knowledge and skills in Semiconductor Assembly Engineering will be advantage.
  • Have good technical, decision making / problem solving skills.
  • Must be discipline and willing to work long hours to achieve desired goals.
