In Malaysia, we are involved in significant oil and gas production operations and the marketing of chemical products. What role you will play in the team
From day one of your internship, you can expect to apply your knowledge and experience in a real business setting. You will be given an opportunity to prove yourself through challenging assignments. What you will do
At ExxonMobil, we believe in continuous learning and development. As an intern, you will be provided not only with on-the-job training, but also mentoring and coaching by your supervisors and colleagues. Finally, an internship with ExxonMobil will show you what one of the world's leading integrated upstream and energy products company is like from the inside.
Key deliverables include:
- Monitoring production / injection performance for assigned reservoirs to ensure compliance with Reservoir Management Plan (RMP) and identify production optimization / capacity enhancement opportunities.
- Develop, execute, and steward reservoir surveillance plans, e.g., well tests, pressure surveys, production logs.
- Assist and support Reservoir / Production Engineer on daily production monitoring
- QA/QC well test results and operational data captured in Energy Components (EC) or Oil Field Manager (OFM)
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Petroleum Engineering in a recognized institution of higher learning, with good academic achievements
- Self-motivated with good demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Strong technical attributes (e.g. attention to details, highly organized and good math/analytical skills)
