UCT is looking for a talented Commodity Manager to join us in Malaysia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop global/regional category strategy based on business needs and market condition Identify suppliers based on customer requirements and supplier capability Contract management including GSA, inventory management program, etc. Supplier development and maintenance including improvement projects to meet quality, delivery and capability requirements Negotiation of commercial terms, pricing, lead time, MOQ, incoterm, etc. Conduct QBR/SBR to review and improve supplier performance Project manage transitions and qualifications

Educational/Certification Requirement : 

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business administration / Engineering or other discipline

Experience Requirement:  

Minimum 8~10 years’ experience in category management in manufacturing environment, semiconductor related experience will be a plus Strategic thinking and analytic skills: total cost of ownership, element of cost, etc. Market research capability – regional labor rate, raw material cost, etc. Good communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skill
