Job Description

Maintain existing business relationships and develop new ones, which will deliver sustainable volume and margin growth across the whole spectrum of PLT & TT - Wholesale, Retail & Fleet for region in charge. Provide strategies,leadership and support to ensure the area sales team and the business remains on track to achieving strategic goals.

Sales Management

Conduct ongoing sales performance reviews with regional area sales to ensure sustainable growth targets are achieved as per agreed business plans. 
Achieving regional business targets & strategy. 
Monitor & track performance (Sales / Payment) of the responsible region to steer business decisions and directions on a continuous basis
Develop and implement business plans for all identified business accounts.

Account Growth

Acquire new business & grow existing business with in all channels via the team consisting of area managers & sales specialist focusing on meeting customer needs whilst delivering sustainable business and be inline with business targets and strategy.
Develop plans to attract new customers and the ability to exert more influence in share of market. 

Channel Management

Develop new channels in the regional market through Car Dealers, Fleet and Government contracts and also through development of Branded Retail Network - Best Drive, Continental, Dunlop & Viking shops.
To manage the right balance between the channels to maximize our coverage in market while maintaining synergies.
Expanding the network continuously to gain share of market (SOM).

Reporting

Ensure that forecasting / forward planning on all key product volumes are updated on a monthly basis.
Prepare monthly business / department reports over viewing status, performance and highlighting potential issues. 


Process Efficiency

To contribute & participate in strategic processes based on CBS methods in enhancing efficiency in business processes & managing change management to attain corporate goals

Project Management

To administer and coordinate with other stakeholders on all the strategic projects for region contributing to the overall project delivery strategy of PLT & TT

Qualifications

Tertiary degree qualification in business or marketing preferred. Minimum 7-10 years sales experience in tyre related, automotive parts replacement or FMCG industry in B2B business model. Prior experience of leading a team is preferred Fluent in Mandarin as the role involves interactions with Mandarin speaking customers.
