Responsibilities:
To assist Department Manager & Relationship Manager to handle loan drawdown, deposit placement and confirm loan/deposit interest rate with the customers. Responsible for the accurate and timely monitoring of all the operational related matters including but not limited to due dates of credit facilities, credit control, Loan transactions and to identify any operational risks to the department. To help and cooperate with other Global Corporate staff and other departments at all levels of work and to assist the Relationship Manager and the Head of Department in other works which may be delegated from time to time. To support the Relationship Managers in the operation support of the companies as allocated by the Head of Department, Directors/ Managing Directors, Executive Advisor and/or Managing Directors of Labuan Branch from time to time. To support them in the proper control of the operation management and documentation support, credit filing and to familiarize with all aspects of operations of the companies through regular discussions with Relationship Managers. To support Global Corporate Banking Department, Global Subsidiary Business and Labuan Branch’s business promotion activities by providing various assistance which may be required from time to time. Provide excellent customer service and assist to open new accounts including new credit/market facilities for clients, and maintain necessary documents for all operations and maintain effective relationships with clients. Maintain knowledge on all bank products, credit standards, services and trends and provide efficient customer services. Contribute ideas and suggestions for the betterment of the bank and Other administrative tasks (Ad-hoc basis).Requirements:
Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution. Preferably with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience especially in corporate banking. Proven track record and experience in managing GLC and/or LLC clients with coverage of East Malaysia corporates is an added advantage. Applicant must possess sound knowledge of corporate banking and capital markets products. Ability to work effectively in team setting, and a self-starter. Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with client and colleagues, and effectively manage multiple client relationships. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn new things, and a commitment to achieving results.
