JR47350 Facilities Engineer - CSA

As the Facilities Engineer – CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineer) will provide supervision and assist on building systems / services set up, repair and maintenance. You will be requested to work together with the engineer/supervisor / services requestors / service providers independently on area of responsibilities building and infrastructure construction, repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms, other engineering disciplines, local municipalities/utilities, trade contractors, and other project stakeholders in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detailed drawings. Ensure specifications, standard and checklists developed are aligned with corporate guidelines and safety and quality expectations. Monitor any assigned project to ensure that it is within agreed scope, schedule and budget. Ensure good constructability, maintainability, quality, sustainability, aesthetics and accessibility of the building and infrastructure. Work with Procurement team to engage and handle the service providers. Responsible for the repair and maintenance by developing inspection standard operating procedure and risk assessment for routine and non-routine works. Performs and facilitates audits, develop inspection checklists, arrange any necessary upgrade, repair or maintenance. Facilitates regular studies for spare part needs and repair and maintenance efficiency to increase reliability and reduce spending. Responsible for related budgeting and expenditures monitoring. Adhere to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work To support RBA audit and meet all RBA requirement

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, or relevant education or working experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of building and fire codes, hazardous occupancies, architectural system designs, etc.

• Proven ability to understand structural drawing & schematic related to building, equipment and system documentation.

Proven ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectively. Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects. Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different disciplines. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams.

•A team player who can help to build a high trust environment while working with team members and contractors.

• Considerable knowledge of construction project management, building services maintenance practices, procedure and installation work.

•Good communication skill and writing skill in English and Malay, etc.

•Good computer skill including MS office and Outlook and able to conduct effective survey and provide significant analyses.

•Knowledge of basic AutoCAD is preferred.
