Job description

· To efficiently manage the core warehousing operations of Muar warehouses and infrastructure, its processes, people resources, inventories integrity & demand fulfillment to meet our internal & external customer expectations.

· To achieve the Warehousing & Infrastructure’s Goals for service, Quality, Productivity, Improvement & Cost Efficiency, through the management of the Policy Deployment process.

· To sustain work disciplines, drive action plan and improvement programs to improve productivity and attain service standards & goals required.

· To ensure full compliance to all company's policies, standard operating procedures, ISO standard, quality compliance, EHS rules, government regulations, site and corporate security procedures and compliance to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Profile

· Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering or related discipline.

· More than 10 years’ experience in a warehouse manager’s role with Materials Management, Inventory Management in a manufacturing environment

· Experience in leading a team of warehouse specialists in a small/medium size warehouse.

· Complete understanding of finished goods warehouse end to end process, picking, packing, palletizing, shipment.

· Experience in Lean Manufacturing is an added Advantage to this role.

· Good negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.

· Working knowledge and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; SAP is a must.

· Strong communication & presentation skills.

· Proven leadership to overcome roadblocks to drive changes.

· Ability to challenge status quo & think out-of-box.

· Disciplined, action-oriented and organized in thought process.

· Sense of urgency and good ownership.
