About the Role

The role will be part of the Tooling Services team focus on managing internal applications and software which is in current use by Swift staffs in day to day work. This will be an internal oriented role focus on a global internal needs.

What to Expect?

Design, develop, unit test, install and support programs/systems. Analyze technical and functional requirements and translate them into software solutions. Understand dependencies toward other systems and teams. Evaluate and recommend technical feasibility and cost estimates of the proposed solutions. Prepare installation and operating procedures. Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by other team members. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Supporting the delivered software and being part problem solving team. Analyze support cases and, when appropriate, provide solutions following the established case management processes. Investigate issues, analyse, and propose solutions. Performing code review with SWIFT development guidelines and Security Protocols. Challenge the design and to be able to find the best approach to a given requirement.

What will make you successful?

Essential Technical Skillset

Strong knowledge and experience in Java back-end development Above 5 years of Java development experience Knowledge and experience in web services (REST & SOAP) Familiar in software development/CICD tools such as GIT,Bitbucket and Jenkins. Exposure to event driven integration framework (publish-subscribe mechanisms) Basic DB admin knowledge in Oracle and PL-SQL. Security minded. Familiar with secure coding, code review to spot security weaknesses, security assessments (Coverity, Nexus ) and intrusion testing processes. Able to articulate solution and mitigation for security issues.

Advantageous Skillset for the Role

Familiar with IT security concepts (SSL, PKI, encryption…) Experience in Spring, Tomcat Apache. Familiar with testing and quality insurance processes. Working knowledge with security tools like, etc Experience with RHEL and shell scripting languages Knowledge and experience in Scrum delivery methodology and its tools like Confluence, Jira, XRay.
