Senior UI/UX Designer (Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply)

iFAST UX & Frontend Solutions Team is responsible for the design of all iFAST products across web and mobile. Our mission is to push the iFAST experience beyond what’s expected by crafting designs that make our clients happy and measurably move the business forward.

The Team cultivates the relationship between iFAST and our users. We advocate for our users’ needs throughout their journey with iFAST, particularly the stocks/bonds/funds/etfs investment experience.

This role will have an impact across various parts of iFAST, from Security & Accounts, Payment Services, Internal System Tools, Customer Engagement Systems, to the Mobile/Web Application of our products. We need a designer that likes working with broad and depth, and also knows how to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

To design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of all digital touch points (including websites and mobile apps) to fulfill the company’s business needs. This role should also be self-initiated, to ensure the user friendliness and keep these touch points with the latest digital trends.

Responsibilities

The Work Life:

Planning

To discuss and to understand the business requirements. To review and self-initiate new improvements to current experience. To ensure seamless experience to our customers (App/Web). To create the user flows and information architecture (IA), as well as the project requirements document.

Designing on UX and UI

To design user experience and to build wireframe or prototype according to business needs. To create the user flows, information architecture (IA) and project requirements documentation.

Ability to multitask, project management and prioritize, you are able to move fast, and also able to slow down things with a more considered process. You excel at communicating in simple and meaningful ways. You’re open to others’ perspective but can push back when needed, contributing at the strategic level rather than focusing only on execution.

The right person for this role

You’re a generalist with a holistic, user-centered view of the user experience. You have experience designing workflows and thrive in ambiguity. You communicate productively with both visual and technical thinkers, and will be comfortable advocating for your point of view in our candid, feedback-driven culture. You balance and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and apply sound judgement in incorporating design revisions. You're a systems thinker who can improve and expand the iFAST’s Design System & Language. To work with Developers to ensure the end product is built according to the proposed design. You have an eagle eye for details.

Good to have

Front-end development knowledge (HTML5/CSS3, jQuery). Good command of spoken and written English or Mandarin to assist in UX content and presentations.

Requirements

A Diploma / Degree in digital design or higher. At least 2 year(s) working experience in a related field (Fresh graduates are willing to learn are also welcome to apply). Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe XD. Ability to work as an individual and together in a team. Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin. Good understanding of latest design trends and user experience design. Solid experience with user interface design for responsive website and mobile app. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
